A Vision for One Columbus
Image, Civility, Unity & Reconciliation
We are not divided—we are destined. Destined to rise above the noise, to move past what separates us, and to focus not on what is broken but on what is possible. Columbus cannot reach its full potential if we remain stuck in cycles of conflict and distrust. That’s why I will rebuild trust by leading with integrity, transparency, and respect. I will support city staff and first responders while fostering mutual respect, create space for honest dialogue that bridges divides, and unite neighborhoods through inclusive leadership and shared purpose. Unity must be the foundation if we want lasting progress.
“You cannot build progress on top of division. Unity is the foundation.”
Public Safety
Everyone deserves to feel safe where they live, work, and raise a family. True safety begins with prevention and trust—not just response. As Mayor, I will strengthen community policing and expand mental health crisis response teams, while investing in officer training that emphasizes de-escalation and cultural awareness. I will also work to build stronger relationships between law enforcement and neighborhoods, especially our youth, and support programs that prevent crime before it starts. Because safety is not just about sirens—it’s about trust, opportunity, and support.
“Preventing crime takes more than policing. It takes investment in people and neighborhoods.”
Poverty & Economic Mobility
Too many families in Columbus are still struggling to get ahead. We cannot be a strong city if we leave entire communities behind. My focus is simple: good jobs, affordable homes, and opportunities that lift people up. As Mayor, I will attract and retain good-paying jobs, expand affordable housing through public-private partnerships, and invest in historically overlooked neighborhoods. I will also increase access to youth programs, job training, and adult education—because economic growth must reach every family and every neighborhood, not just a few.
“My focus is simple: good jobs, affordable homes, and opportunity that lifts people up.”
Veterans Issues & Concerns
Our veterans have served with honor, and it is our duty to serve them with the same commitment. No veteran should ever have to fight for basic services when they return home. As Mayor, I will ensure every veteran has access to stable housing, career opportunities, and mental health support. I will strengthen partnerships with the VA, local veteran organizations, and members of Congress, while expanding reintegration programs and reducing veteran homelessness. Columbus is stronger when our veterans are supported—not left behind.
“Our city is stronger when our veterans are supported, not left behind.”
